Some of the Techniques used in Home Staging:

Optimal furniture placement
Most homes have too much furniture for a successful showing.  Buyers want square footage.  I will select which furniture you should display and which you should store.  I will also direct you in optimal furniture placement to maximize your home's traffic flow and perceived square footage.

Neutralization
The ultimate goal of a home showing is to make the buyer feel as though the home could be his.  Any distractions that remind the buyer he is in someone else's home will be diminish his ability to envision the home as his own.

Choosing the right upgrades
You're likely already aware you should make some changes to your home to make it more marketable.  I will assist you in choosing which changes/upgrades will give you the greatest return on investment.

*$150 covers extensive consultation.  Implementation of the home staging suggestions given during the consultation is the responsibility of the home owner.  Consultation fee for homes outside Woodstock, GA but within 1/2 hr drive time is $200.  For homes between 1/2 hr and 1 hr drive time, the fee is $225.  Full implementation projects (items such as art, accessories, and small furniture are brought into the home) are also available.
